2026-2027 BAM Sponsorship Program

The Bird Azarian Memorial (B.A.M.) Training Center is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and a USA Wrestling–sanctioned club. Founded in 2023, B.A.M. is dedicated to developing youth and high school wrestlers in Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, while honoring the Bird and Azarian legacy under the leadership of Coach Anthony “Ole” D’Alie. 

B – Bird. Josh Bird, a former wrestler at B.A.M., tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident in 2020. A three-time high school state finalist and two-time Wisconsin state champion, Josh embodied dedication, perseverance, and an encouraging spirit. Our facility proudly carries his name to honor his legacy. 

A – Azarian. The “A” represents Tony Azarian, an outstanding wrestler, coach, and mentor who was deeply committed to family and community. Tony passed away in a construction accident in 2000, but the impact of his leadership and character continues to inspire generations. 

M – Memorial. In remembering Josh Bird and Tony Azarian, we strive to instill more than wrestling skills in our athletes. At B.A.M., we teach dedication, teamwork, character, perseverance, and mental toughness—qualities that serve our wrestlers on the mat and in every aspect of life. Whether they pursue athletic success in college or professional excellence in another field, these lessons set them apart.
