Wrestling helps children develop lifelong skills in building confidence, perseverance, strength, and a positive ‘can-do’ mindset and as we head into the 2025-2026 season, we can’t help but feel that same determination and optimism.

The Marshwood Little Hawks Wrestling Boosters are seeking corporate sponsors to help support the program in four specific areas: tournament fees, uniforms, trophies and team building events.



  1. Tournament Fees - Wrestling can be an expensive sport. Entry fees for each tournament (7) cost between $30-$65 per-wrestler per tournament. To ease the financial burden on families, our goal is to pay for 100% of tournament fees for each wrestler.  Last year we were able to pay $10,600 towards tournament fees because of  YOU, our generous sponsors.
  2. Uniforms - The singlet, $55 cost and headgear, $35 cost is a wrestler’s uniform. Due to the growth of the program, last year many wrestlers wore singlets that were over 10 years old. The material was worn, ill-fitting, and faded. Replacing these outdated singlets will improve wrestler’s comfort and boost team morale with matching equipment. 
  3. Apparel- We’ve also added a W.O.W. (Wrestler of the Week) program that recognizes one wrestler from each bracket each week.  This child is recognized for his/her outstanding performance on and off the mat.  Striving for excellence at home, at school and being an outstanding role model for others deserves to be recognized.  
  4. Team Building Events- If you’ve ever wrestled you will understand it is undeniably one of the hardest sports to compete in. With that being said, we feel very strongly that our program would benefit tremendously if we can bring our kids together “off the mat” and give them the opportunity to have a great time making friends and building strong relationships within our wrestling community. These off-campus events will help to do that.
